Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors are elected at large for staggered six-year terms and at the annual reorganization meeting in January select a Chair and Vice Chair. As enacted in the Pennsylvania Second Class Township Code, the Board is charged with the general governance of the Township, setting policy to ensure sound fiscal management and to secure the health, safety and welfare of the citizens. The Board is responsible for the appointment of the Township Manager and volunteers to the various Boards and Commissions of the Township. The Board also appoints professionals to provide legal and technical counsel.

• Three members, serving six-year terms
• Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
• Joint Work Sessions are held quarterly between the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission and begin at 5:30 p.m.
• Unless otherwise noted, all meetings are held at the  Chadds Ford Township Building, 10 Ring Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317, and are open to the public.
