The Planning Commission acts as an advisory board to the Board of Supervisors. They make recommendations on all subdivision and land development applications, conditional use applications, either draft or comment on all Zoning Ordinance Amendments, as well as discuss various other topics regarding land use in the Township and neighboring Townships. Each member is appointed by the Board of Supervisors.

Meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Advertised Joint Work Sessions are held quarterly between the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors.

All Planning Commission meetings are held at the Chadds Ford Township Building, 10 Ring Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317, and open to the public.
