PECO Reliability Work on Atwater Road (Fall 2025)
PECO will be upgrading electric service infrastructure in Chadds Ford Township to improve reliability and reduce vegetation-related outages in your neighborhood. Work will occur along Atwater Road.
What’s included

Tree trimming and, where necessary, tree removals

Installation of new poles and upgraded aerial wires

All work performed by PECO crews and qualified PECO contractors
Schedule

Surveying (next few weeks): Davey Resource Group (a qualified PECO contractor) will assess needed tree work and will contact you directly if work is required on your property.

Tree work: September–October 2025

Equipment work (poles & wires): Begins after tree work is complete

Project completion: By end of 2025
What to expect

Crews may need to temporarily interrupt electric service to safely complete portions of the work. PECO will inform customers in advance of activities and any planned interruptions.
