Calvary Chapel of Delaware County is proposing to expand their existing church with a 11,500 SF auditorium expansion and outdoor terrace area. The footprint for this expansion is 10,000 SF. The property is 18.4 acres in size. The limit of disturbance for this building project is approximately 0.65 acres. The purpose of the project is to accommodate the current needs of the church congregation and day school. No anticipated increase in membership or enrollment is anticipated. The site currently contains the church and associated parking areas, landscaping and stormwater management areas. The primary vehicular entrance to the property is taken off Brandywine Drive. There is a small amount of wetlands on the site south of the existing building along Brandywine Drive. The property is located in the POC – Planned Office Center Zoning District in Chadds Ford Township.
