The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that stormwater improvements are planned next week on several state highways in Delaware and Montgomery counties under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Motorists are advised of lane closures on Monday, April 29, through Friday, May 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the following location:
- Southbound U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Hillman Drive in Chadds Ford and Concord townships, Delaware County, for stormwater replacement.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
